A great painting built up from 2 soldiers and their horses making up the face of Don Quixote. Posted this one due to the illusionary feel it gives as well as the multiple levels of detail and creativity within the background itself.
For example notice the main windmill in the horizon is located directly under what seems to be a face etched into the hillside. Look at it as one piece and it looks like an angel. Very mysterious indeed.

it you look at the rocky pavement you can see what looks like a skull. i also think that the women in the backround looks like another face thats smiling. i’ve also just notice that shield has that ‘is it one vase and two faces?’ optical illusion on it.
